The Growing Reach of Starlink
After reaching low Earth orbit (LEO), the 23 Starlink satellites were released about an hour into flight. Over the next few days, they’ll adjust their orbits to join the massive Starlink constellation.
As of now:
- 7,000+ Starlink satellites are operational
- Coverage spans nearly the entire planet
- Service offers high-speed satellite internet to even the most remote areas (excluding the poles)
Users simply need to aim their Starlink receiver toward the sky to connect—no cables, no waiting on infrastructure.
In terms of satellite connectivity, this network is approaching game-changing scale.
